The world that I created in which to stage these adventures is not a ‘happy little elves in fairyland’ kind of place. Imagine all of the worst aspects of the real world and multiply them by monsters and magics. It is a world of harsh realities and multiple cruelties. I don’t try to dress it up and make it look nice. Neither do I pull my punches when it comes to the real issues. Evil creatures are going to do nasty things. This is not a fantasy written for children to read. I make no apologies for this fact. It contains materials which might be offensive to those of a sensitive nature. If you are easily shocked, please don’t go there and then complain about it afterwards.

Whether any of my work is readable or not, that is for each individual to decide for themselves.
